I enjoy coming here with my toddler but went during operation hours, when there was good weather and the splash pad was closed. Looked at Harker heights social media and website, there was no notifications that it’d be closed

Kern Park is just large enough for kiddos. It's located in a quiet neighborhood. The upkeep is wonderful. Plenty of places to sit as well.

Small neighborhood park that is easy to take time to just be a human…. Didn’t see any abuse of the park …so no needles, trash or graffiti….. just an occasional noisy car (loud exhaust or epithetical rap music) otherwise anyone could have a splendid day here
